Description
Ambient air is used to generate nitrogen on site. This air is first filtered to remove impurities and then compressed before being separated from the nitrogen in a membrane generator to produce water, oxygen and, in some cases, argon. The nitrogen is stored in a pressure tank, while the rest is released as exhaust gas.
Pressure tank data:
- Year of manufacture: 2001
- Permissible operating pressure = 11 bar
- Volume = 250 L
Temperature range = -10°C to 50°C
