Description
Two-stage plate heat exchanger for cooling wort. Approximately 10 hl of wort can be cooled in one hour.
In the first stage (pre-cooler), the wort is cooled from 96°C to 15°C (while simultaneously heating the brewing water from 12 to 80°C). In the second stage, the wort is further cooled to 6 °C (while simultaneously heating glycol from -2 °C to 8 °C).
