The kegs are placed manually on the conveyor belt and lifted off again manually after the filling process. First, the kegs are cleaned in a washing tunnel with brushes and spray nozzles. Internal cleaning and filling takes place on a line with a total of 7 stations, broken down as follows:
1. Centring
2. Mixed water rinsing and lye cleaning
3. Hot water rinsing and acid cleaning
4. Hot water rinsing and steaming
5. Pre-stressing
6. Filling
7. Barrel head spraying
The CIP system includes three steam-heated tanks. The acid tank is equipped with an automated valve. Additional tanks for hot water buffering and condensate return complete the system.
