Six-roll crushing mill, including feed screw with conditioning

A system for the conditioned milling of malt into grist and for the subsequent storage of the grist. In a conditioning auger, the malt is moistened with water at 60°C before being ground into grist in the 6-roll mill (Künzel, 1966). The conditioning water is preheated (Täuber, 2019). The grist is collected in a funnel-shaped grist hopper mounted on legs and fed into the grist transport system.
