water treatment

Description

Compact laboratory device for treating drinking water according to DIN 2000 to produce pure and ultrapure water for laboratory use. The drinking water is first fed to the pretreatment cartridge via a booster pump, where reverse osmosis removes most of the minerals and bacteria. The conductivity of the pretreated water is continuously measured and displayed on the control unit's display. The water is then passed through a UV reactor and disinfected. The remaining ions are then removed in the ultrapure water cartridge, and the remaining non-ionic substances are removed in the ultrafiltration module. After all treatment steps, the conductivity of the ultrapure water is measured again. The ultrapure water is fed into a 10-liter tank up to the maximum fill level. Once the maximum fill level is reached, no further water is treated. The ultrapure water circulates between the tank and the treatment units to ensure consistently high quality. The ultrapure water is drawn off via a dispenser mounted directly on the system, which is equipped with a sterile filter.
