Description

Steam-heated 4-vessel brewhouse with stainless steel brewing vessels. The system is suitable for infusion and decoction methods as well as high-gravity brewing and comprises the following components: - Mash tun (Huppmann, 2004) with a capacity of 150 hl, steam-heated, insulated, with a bottom-entry agitator and pre-mash screen - Lauter tun (Huppmann, 2004), insulated, with a drop floor, grist cutter and spent grain discharge screw - First run-off vessel for wort (Steinecker, 2003), insulated tank - Wort kettle (Steinecker ‘Merlin’, 2003), steam-heated, insulated - Wort condenser - Whirlpool, insulated, with hop dosing vessel (manual flap) and top-entry spent grain discharge - Spent grain tank with a capacity of 15 hl, conical - Hop dosing unit with 3 stainless steel vessels and hop chutes on a shared stainless steel frame - Wort cooler (API, 2006), two-stage plate heat exchanger for cooling 180 hl/h of hot wort to fermentation temperature - 3 centrifugal pumps for wort transfer - Various pipework, valves, fittings and sensors
