Description
A vertical outdoor silo with a capacity of 340 hl for storing approximately 22 tonnes of wet spent grain. The conical silo is equipped with a spent grain pump and a discharge mechanism at a height of several metres for loading lorries. A dry-running rotary vane compressor (Becker, 2019) with 18 kW serves as a spent grain blower for conveying between the lauter tun and the spent grain silo.
